The 88th Oscars Nominations are in and the big winner is The Revenant with 12 nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actor in a Leading Role for Leonardo DiCaprio, Mad Max: Fury Road follows it with 10.

In the category of Best Actress in a Leading Role Jennifer Lawrence for Joy and Cate Blanchett for Carol compete along Brie Larson for Room, Charlotte Rampling for 45 Years and Saoirse Ronan for Brooklyn.
And who will be the host this year? Chris Rock, as it was already announced, the multi-hyphenate artist and filmmaker is returning to host the 2016 Academy Awards for the second time

The 88th Academy Awards will be live on Sunday, February 28th 2016 on ABC.
