Pantone has selected the colors, Yes, you read good, the colors for 2016.
This time is not one, but two, the Baby Blue Serenity and the powder pink Rose Quartz.
But this is not just about the colors of the year; in fact there is more inside. Why this two colors? Today, with all the movement the consumers seek peace, mindfulness, well-being and these two colors represent that.
Psychologically talking the Rose Quartz and the Serenity Blue together transmit wellness and a sense of order and peace. Separated the Rose Quartz means compassion and a sense of composure, and the Serenity is weightless and airy.
Both colors also match perfectly with other mid-tones including rich browns, greens, purples, yellows and pink, and also with the sparkle tones.
